Shakira and Piqu, meet to reach an agreement on the custody of their children

Shakira and Gerard Piqué publicly announced their separation on June 4 and, since then, their lawyers have maintained a constant tug-of-war for the custody of the couple’s two children, Milan and Sasha, 9 and 7 years old. Pilar Mañé and Ramón Tamborero – legal representatives of the singer and the soccer player respectively – have met several times in recent months, but the agreement has been impossible so far.

However, and aware that they have to agree if they do not want to go to trial and that it be a judge who decides everything related to the custody of their little ones, Shakira and Piqué have met once more in the Blaugrana’s lawyer’s office in Barcelona , thus burning the last cartridges to try to reach an agreement that satisfies both parties.

A meeting in which the Colombian has been seen smiling and calm, although she has not made any statements regarding how her meeting with her partner for more than a decade had been. The same silence that Piqué has kept, who, however, has been much more serious and tense than the mother of his children.

“We are working on it” Ramón Tamborero told us when we asked him if the reunion between Shakira and Gerard has served to finally reach a separation agreement. Very discreetly, the footballer’s lawyer has avoided confirming whether Milan and Sasha will finally stay and live in Barcelona, although he has advanced that “we are working on it”, thus confirming that it is the point that most worries his client.

“There is never a last meeting” he assured, suggesting that this will not be the only meeting that Piqué and Shakira will have, who, as he explains, maintain a cordial relationship: “Right, thank you very much.” “The meeting went very well,” he adds, revealing that although “I cannot give more information,” both the singer and the soccer player will try to avoid going to trial for the good of their children: “Always, thank you very much.”
