In the “2022 Top Music Chart Awards Ceremony” held on January 1st, fans voted for “My Favorite Song” to start voting this week. At noon today, Commercial Radio announced the final top ten songs that will enter the next stage of voting. The hit MIRROR and the songs of 5 solo members can also be shortlisted, occupying a total of 6 seats in the top ten. But when the 15 leading songs were announced earlier, Jeremy (李俊杰) and Anson Kong (江礒生), who were originally involved, failed to make it to the next round.
In addition to “Mirror”, the top ten entries include works by Hins Cheung, Lam Ka-him, MC Zhang Tiantian and Dear Jane. Originally, the MC had 2 leading songs, but the highly topical “Slip Carefully” failed to enter the top ten. And these ten songs are all male groups, male bands or male singers. COLLAR “Call My Name!”, which had a chance, failed to win a seat for the female group.
These 10 songs will enter the second round of voting next Monday, and 5 songs will be selected, which will be voted by live music fans on the day of the awards ceremony.
