Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant on Accountability Mirza Shahzad Akbar has said that he was attacked with acid in London, as a result of which he was injured.

Mirza Shahzad Akbar said in a statement on the social media website ‘X’ that I was attacked yesterday evening in England, an unknown assailant threw acid solution on me and ran away.

He said that the attack was carried out at my residence in England where I am living in exile with my family. Thankfully my wife and children were not harmed. No, the police and emergency services arrived immediately and the house is now being secured.

He said that, God willing, my courage and determination is intact and will remain, and the tyrants will not succeed in their intentions, and God willing, they will be exposed soon.

It should be remembered that Shahzar Akbar was facing several cases after the end of the PTI government, but he left the country and moved to England earlier this year.
