Artist and model Shahnaz Haque some time ago made a recent post on his personal Instagram account, Bunda. Uploading a black and white photo with her husband, Gilang Ramadhan, is filled with a sweet caption, you know.
In this column, Shahnaz shares his love story with Gilang, a well-known Indonesian musician and drummer. In fact, post flashback to the initial moment of falling in love with her husband, this is the way she does it to commemorate the moment of 22 years of marriage, you know.
“20 January 2001 – 20 January 2023,” he opened, quoted from the account @shahnaz.haque.
In the next paragraph, the mother of three children recalls the time when her husband came with his family to his residence. He said, their relationship did not start with drama, but the power of prayer and logic alone.
“Father. 22 years ago, you and your extended family came to our house to propose. Unsigned from the start, a figure who is famous but doesn’t know you. No love drama, let alone being his slave. Only using the power of prayer and logic,” he wrote.
Later, Shahnaz mentioned that the love between the two appeared in just a short duration. Even so, the seed is enough to build a bigger feeling.
“‘Falling’ in love only takes 5 minutes. Enough. But to ‘wake up’ love takes a lifetime.”
The film star Jakarta Hati admits that actually love is not enough and one has to keep trying. He often admits to failing, but according to him, love that is present can always forgive everything.
“Still not enough. Love must be strived for. Decades I have learned to love more, not to know more. Success? Often times, failure. Because if you only know, hatred will arise for each other’s badness. But with love, all that bad forgiven.”
The process from the Gilang family’s first visit to Shahnaz’s house until the application took place didn’t take long, Mother. Shahnaz believes that everything happens because of the will of Allah SWT.
“Because of Allah, on this date, I accept your proposal. After a week of knowing each other, I immediately proposed. Because this is a matter of guts and faith to go through marriage. Love a mountain? No! Because mountains can be cut and lost. Just a tip of a nail. Because nails always grow even if they are cut “You don’t have to seduce, persuade when you’re sulking. You’ll be fine yourself later,” he said.
