Books – Wael Tawfik:
The actress Shahira Hamdi expressed her happiness at choosing the great artist Hussein Fahmy as president of the Cairo Film Festival in its 44th session for 2022.
Shahira wrote on her personal page on the “Facebook” website: “The best news I heard is that the great star Hussein Fahmy took over the presidency of the Cairo Film Festival again, the star of Fahem Khalouk, conscious and sophisticated.”
Shahira described Hussein Fahmy’s tenure as president of the Cairo Film Festival in 4 previous sessions, as bright periods, and added: “The best years of the festival were during his tenure in this position before. Congratulations to the festival and art.”
The Minister of Culture, Enas Abdel Dayem, had issued the decision to take over the presidency of the artist Hussein Fahmy in the upcoming 44th session of the Cairo Film Festival, to succeed producer Mohamed Hefzy, and a ceremony will be held in which “Fahmy” will receive the presidency of the festival from “Hefzy”, which is a new tradition.
