Shahid Afridi suddenly left Lanka Premier League incomplete and returned home

Pakistan’s star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi suddenly announced his return home after leaving the Lankan Premier League unfinished.

In a statement on social media website Twitter, Shahid Afridi said, “Unfortunately, I have to return home due to a personal emergency.”

Afridi further wrote that ‘I will immediately rejoin my team in the LPL once the situation is under control’.

Shahid Afridi did not elaborate on the nature of the emergency.

It should be noted that in the Sri Lankan Premier League, Galle Gladiators have appointed Shahid Afridi as the captain of the team while Bhanuka Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka is the vice-captain.

Yesterday, there was a bitter exchange between Candy Tuskers’ Afghan fast bowler Naveen Haq and Galle Gladiators’ Mohammad Amir.

Afghan bowler Naveen Ape got out after hitting a four by Mohammad Amir, the bowler abused Amir, to which Amir also responded and hit a six in the next over, while even after the match ended, the two were bitter. The speech continued.

After the match, Shahid Afridi also expressed his anger on the Afghan bowler Naveen-ul-Haq and showed his eyes to Naveen-ul-Haq.
