Former national team captain Shahid Afridi paid tribute to Prime Minister Imran Khan for presenting the true face of Islam to the world.
In his message on the social media website Twitter, Shahid Afridi wrote that “How beautifully Prime Minister Imran Khan presented the virtues of Islam to the world, which our Prophet (peace be upon him) not only lived but also demonstrated in practice. Humanity is above all else, this should be enough to open the eyes of the United Nations, ‘Allah does not show mercy to one who does not show mercy to people’ (Sahih Bukhari and Muslim).
What a beautiful portrayal of Islam by @ImranKhanPTI on the virtues our Prophet (SAW) lived by & demonstrated; humanity above everything. This should be a wake up call to the @UN. ‘Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to mankind’ (Sahih Muslim 2319) pic.twitter.com/XNPjr7WVcC

It should be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan called the shooting attack in New Zealand’s Christchurch mosques the result of Islamophobia in which 51 people, including 9 Pakistanis, were martyred.
Apart from this, incidents of attacks on mosques and other attacks in the name of Islam have also increased in different countries of the world, as a result of which extremism is increasing.
It should be remembered that during the visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammad to Pakistan in March this year, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Islamophobia has harmed the Muslim Ummah, terrorism has affected Muslim countries a lot. Islamophobia was deliberately encouraged in the world. On this occasion, Mahathir Muhammad said that Muslim countries must make joint efforts to end Islamophobia.
