Shahbaz Sharif will be sworn in as Pakistan’s Prime Minister tomorrow

PML-N leader Shahbaz Sharif will be sworn in as Pakistan’s new Prime Minister tomorrow. Shahbaz Sharif has been sworn in as the country’s 23rd Prime Minister. Shahbaz is set to become the new prime minister following Imran lost the no-confidence motion and lost power.

Shahbaz Sharif is the president of the Nawaz faction of the Pakistan Muslim League. Until now, he was the Leader of the Opposition in the Pakistan National Assembly. The National Assembly will convene tomorrow at 2 p.m. Meanwhile, former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has announced that all the MPs of Imran’s party, Pakistan Tahrir Insaf, will resign from the National Assembly.

The PTI has made it clear that elections should not be held to make Shahbaz the Prime Minister. Imran Khan has reportedly left the capital Islamabad for another location. Imran Khan lost the day following losing the no-confidence motion.
