King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center during 2023-24 Pakistan has completed the distribution of relief goods in the most backward and natural calamity-affected areas.
According to a statement released by the organization, the Asylum and food As and the project to distribute 50 thousand kits of winter items has been successfully completed.
According to the statement, the project was completed in four phases from September 2023 to October 2024, targeting people living in the 44 districts most affected by heavy rains, floods and snowfall in Pakistan.
During this campaign, King Salman Relief distributed 25,000 shelters and winter kits, so that people can cope with the harsh conditions of cold weather and get their lives back to normal after disasters.
King Salman Relief worked closely with national and provincial government agencies, including the National Disaster Management Authority, Provincial Disaster Management Authorities and the Department of Relief, Rehabilitation and Resettlement in this project.
The statement further informed that ‘in addition, this relief work was carried out in an effective and systematic manner in collaboration with the United Nations agencies and local administration.
“This project is playing an important role in restoring and stabilizing people’s lives by providing essential assistance to more than 350,000 people in areas affected by natural disasters.”
The statement said that under the project, necessary assistance was provided to the most backward and natural disaster-affected areas of Pakistan.
This project reflects King Salman Relief’s commitment to serving humanity in response to the increasing challenges of natural disasters caused by climate change.
