German security services have received information about possible terrorist attacks by ISIS on targets during the European Football Championship, which will be held in Germany in the summer of 2024.
Because of the threats before his days ISIS for attacks on the stadiums that hosted this week’s Champions League quarter-final games, security measures were stepped up in Paris, Madrid and Arsenal’s “Emirates”. Fortunately the matches took place without the jihadists’ threats materializing, but the French authorities even mobilized the elite counter-terrorist unit BRI after a post on the Al Azaim media, which reproduces messages from ISIS-K, an arm of the Islamic State.

According to Bild, the latest issue of “Voice of Khorasan”, ISIS-K’s propaganda medium, also contains a call for terrorist attacks, which according to German security officials, puts EURO 2024 in the crosshairs.
ISIS arm’s chilling call for attacks
The issue also includes a series of photos, including one showing an armed terrorist in camouflage on a German commuter rail train with the caption: “Last call before the exit.” On the seat next to it is a box of dynamite under a sign that says “Welcome to Europeยป.
Another photo shows a drone flying over Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium with the caption: ‘If they are restricting you and oppressing you on the ground, hit them from the sky. If the enemies of the religion of Allah blocked the way of the Hegira (Hijra in Arabic โ the flight of the prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina in 622 AD), they cannot block the way of struggle.โ
The ISIS text continues the threats: “Run over the infidels with your vehicle, stab them with knives, poison their food, blow their brains out with bullets and set fire to their houses.” A special call is directed especially to the young followers of ISIS, noting that “the responsibility of young people is greater than anywhere else.”
According to iefimerida, German security officials believe that the ISIS-K (Islamic State-Khorasan Province) wing of ISIS has an organized network of more than 100 jihadists in western Europe, half of which are in Germany.
“This [ฯฮฟ ฯฯฮฟฯฮฑฮณฮฑฮฝฮดฮนฯฯฮนฮบฯ ฮฌฯฮธฯฮฟ] shows that ISIS-K wants to carry out spectacular attacks at all costs, no matter how or by whom. That is why all potential perpetrators, including radicalized individuals and so-called lone wolves, are now being called upon to launch attacks,” an official told Bild.
