After the difficult months that the Shadow company has faced, we wanted to take stock with them of the evolution of their product. Head to cloud computing
As a reminder, Shadow is a French company that aims to launch a Cloud Computing feature, to understand, to have a powerful, reliable computer, everywhere, whether for work, but also, as we will see, for gaming.
With the component crisis, among other worries, Shadow had suffered a lot in recent years to the point that last year the company was acquired by Octave Klaba (OVH) on a personal basis through Jezby Ventures.
So there’s a whole new project being set up at Shadow, new directions and new offerings coming in to expand Shadow to a wider audience.

And this new image goes through the “POWER” option which will be available on October 26th. It’s simple: with this option, Shadow is clearly aimed at players, since it offers much more power to play in the best conditions. This offer, distributed at the price of €14.99 is added to the initial subscription (from €29.99), but for the oldest customers, those loyal to the position since the beginning, more advantageous offers will be offered to them and even a early access at the beginning of October at a price of €9.99, a price which will remain active for these users.
However, they will be distributed in waves, so for those most interested, do not hesitate to pre-order as soon as possible (from September 20)
Here are the details of the POWER option:
- CPU
Acronym for the English expression Central Processing Unit. The CPU designates the processor of a computer and its computing capacity.

AMD EPUC 7543P with 4 cores and 8 threads - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 (or equivalent, still from Nvidia, for professionals)
- The latest AMD GPUs like the Radeon PRO V620
- 16g of RAM
- 250go de DD
Acronym for “Direct Damage” (or Direct Damage in English), designating an offensive spell or an ability allowing you to inflict damage instantly on the opponent (as opposed to “DoT”, see this term, which regularly inflicts damage to the enemy for a specified period).

(extensible)
In addition to this Power option, Shadow extends its territorial horizon with services that will be active from September 15 in Canada, Austria, then later in the year in Italy, Spain, Sweden and Denmark.
Next, Shadow also wants to work in B2B and wants to offer companies management of their IT in the cloud, with network management, etc., but also virtual solutions for their demonstrations, like Herds which has already offered demonstrations ofElden Ring using this solution.
Shadow also plans, since they are launching this service for professionals, to extend the “multi-PC” offers to individuals later.
In the future, Shadow plans rotation cycles: to stay on top, the computer fleet will be renewed and the new offers will take the place of the current offers (without additional cost, of course) and the current ones will become the 2nd offer, less expensive, and this cyclically.
This September 6, you can go to ShadowFrance’s Twitch channel at 7 p.m. to see their general presentation.
