Her husband Javed Akhtar, along with Salim Khan, starred Amitabh Bachchan in the 1970s in films like “Zanjeer” (1973), “Sholay” (1975), “Dewar” (1975) and “Trishul” (1977). was instrumental in introducing him as “Angry Young Man”.
