Tunisian Sfaxien qualified for the group stage of the King Salman Cup for Arab Football Clubs, following defeating its guest Al-Hilal of Sudan 2-0, in the second leg of the second qualifying round of the tournament.
Al-Hilal had won the first leg 1-0, but Sfaxien scored two goals in the second leg, to qualify, benefiting from its 2-1 victory on aggregate.
Sfaxien advanced through Aziz Sayhi in the 64th minute, before his colleague Barakat Al-Hamidi added the second goal in the 88th minute.
Sfaxien will play in the first group of the tournament alongside his compatriot, Taraji, the Saudi Jeddah Federation and the Iraqi police in the tournament, which will be held in Saudi Arabia from July 27 to August 12.
