Known for his activist publications on several topics such as politics, Dan Price, the CEO of a large technology company in Seattle, USA, resigns amid sexual assault allegations.
These allegations were reported Thursday by the “New York Times”, the day following Mr. Price resigned from his post as CEO of the company Gravity Payments, which he founded 18 years ago.
“My number one priority is that our people work for the best company in the world, but my presence has become a distraction here. Also, I need to take a step back to focus full time on defending myself once morest false accusations that [circulent à mon sujet]“said the businessman in a tweet.
However, this is not the first time that Dan Price has been the subject of an allegation. In 2015, an article by the media “Bloomberg Businessweek” revealed that his ex-wife allegedly accused him of domestic violence.
Thus, the “Times” attributes the re-emergence of the businessman in 2019, among other things, to good press, a short collective memory and the fact that he continued to publish on social networks.
The businessman was noticed in January 2021 following commenting on twitter on the assault on the Capitol.
“A president was so angry that he lost that he incited a mob once morest the United States Capitol. I never want to hear once more that women are ‘too emotional’ to be president.”
“The image that fueled his influence, and attracted his female subscribers, was only a mirage”, can we also read in the article of the “Times”. It was recently revealed to the public that Dan Price hired a ghostwriter to write his social media posts.
