SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Collin Sexton and Talen Horton-Tucker each scored 27 points, and the Utah Jazz beat the Brooklyn Nets 125-108 on Monday.
Sexton scored his fifth game with 20 points and helped Utah win for the third time in four games. Horton-Tucker also set a team-high six assists.
Lauri Markkanen had 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Walker Kessler added 14 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks.
Cam Thomas led the Nets with 32 points and Spencer Dinwiddie chipped in with 17 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds. Brooklyn’s three-game winning streak once morest Utah was thus ended.
Brooklyn did not trail during the second period and had the lead for much of the third. but the Nets had trouble truly distancing themselves from the Jazz.
They never led more than seven points before Utah took the lead for good.
