Half a billion fans, a personal fortune of several million dollars and an extremely successful business empire – that’s what the 26-year-old American’s business card says. His fame is also based on his image: MrBeast is considered one of the nicest guys on the Internet, and there are large sums of money to be won at his shows.
Beast Games on the verge of collapse?
Five participants in the upcoming Prime Video show Beast Games have now filed legal action against Donaldson and his production company in Los Angeles. In the biggest reality competition series of all time, 1,000 participants are fighting for a prize of 4.4 million euros. In the 54-page document, the participants suffered in an environment that “systematically promoted a culture of misogyny and sexism”. The show is now threatened with cancellation before its first broadcast.
