Sex scandal rocks North Korea. Student ‘unrecognizable’

A sexual scandal has shaken North Korea. According to the Korean portal Daily NK, citing an anonymous source, the wife of one of the professors allegedly attacked a student taught by her husband.

The whole incident took place in early July at the Agricultural College in Sinuiju, where one of the scholars allegedly had an affair with a first-year student. Information about the probable betrayal from unknown sources reached the professor’s wife, who, as the portal’s anonymous source reports, allegedly beat the girl so much that she was “unrecognizable”.

In the case of the student, a motion was filed to expel her from the university. At the same time, the beaten girl decided not to report the case “for fear of what might happen, given her relatively weaker position”. The girl is currently off campus due to serious facial injuries.

North Korea. Student beaten by professor’s wife. University remains silent on the matter

Although almost a month has passed since the student was beaten, the university has not yet taken an official position on the matter. According to the portal’s informant, the authorities of the Agricultural College in Sinuiju on the one hand, they want to make the girl a warning to other students, but on the other hand, they fear criticism from society.

The girl’s friends allegedly advised her to report the beating and forcing of the professor into sexual intercourse. In North Korea, abusing one’s position to gain physical benefits is punishable by forced labor.
