The departments concerned are Aveyron, Charente, Charente-Maritime, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Deux-Sèvre, Vienne, Dordogne, Corrèze, Cantal, Haute-Vienne, Haute-Loire, Loire , Creuse, Puy-de-Dôme, Indre, Cher, Indre-et-Loire, Allier, Nièvre, Yonne, Côte-d’Or, Saône-et-Loire , Somme, Oise, Seine-Maritime, Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Calvados, Eure, Val-d’Oise, Yvelines, Paris, Seine-et-Marne, ‘Essone, Eure-et-Loir, Sarthe, Maine-et-Loire, Loire-Atlantique, Loiret, Loir-et-Cher, Indre-et-Loire, Creuse, Lot- et-Garonne, Gironde, Vendée, Haute-Garonne, Gers, Ariège, Lot, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Aude, Pyrénées-Orientales, Hautes-Pyrénées, Corsica -North.

Only the departments on the western side of France are spared, in a diagonal going from Seine-Maritime to Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

This yellow “storm” vigilance is valid until midnight this Sunday. On Monday, only 11 departments should remain above the alert threshold: Meurthe-et-Moselle, Moselle, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Vosges, Haute-Saône, Doubs, Jura, the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and the Alpes-Maritimes.
