Severe penalties for Al-Ahly and Bahrain after the events of the Arab Table Tennis Championship

The Appeals Committee for the Arab Clubs Table Tennis Championship announced the decisions regarding the events of the match Al-Ahly Bahrain and Bahrain are in the quarter-finals of the tournament, which is currently being held in Hall No. 2 of the Halls Complex at Cairo International Stadium, from December 25 to December 31, with the participation of 32 teams from various Arab countries.

The match ended with the Bahraini team winning 3/2 in the biggest surprises of the tournament, and its end witnessed unfortunate events between the players and administrators of the two teams, which resulted in the following decisions being taken:

Excluding Bahrain coach Amr Reda from completing the tournament and denying him entry to the playing field and the call area, in addition to being crowned if he won any medal.

Secondly, stopping Muhammad Al-Baili for one match and warning him.

Thirdly, a warning was issued to the Bahrain Club administrator, Rashid Al-Majed, for misconduct.

Fourth, Ali Lashin was banned from entering Hall 2 until the end of the tournament.

Fifthly, the protest submitted by Ahmed Hamed, the club’s managing director, was rejected Al-Ahly guaranteed form and acceptance.

The Al-Ahly and Zamalek teams lost the quarter-final match of the Arab Clubs Championship for Table Tennis, where Al-Ahly lost to Bahrain and Zamalek lost to Qatar.

Enppi qualified for the semi-finals, following defeating the Al-Kharroub Youth Association team, 3-0, following Antoine Richard, Ahmed Nadim and Ali Ghallab defeated the Algerian trio Sami Kharroub, Wafi Shams Al-Din and Akram Bin Al-Nawi, respectively, to face the Bahraini Sar, who managed to beat the Qatari Al-Sadd 3 -1.

Thus, Enppi will face its Bahraini counterpart, Sarr, in the semi-finals, while Bahrain will face its Qatari counterpart, Qatar, today, Friday, at six in the evening.

It is worth noting that a confrontation is scheduled to bring together Al-Ahly and Zamalek to determine the centers from the fifth to the eighth.
