The cloud belt that scattered a lot of rain last night has retreated to the east, but huge rain clouds are approaching once more from the west of the Korean Peninsula.

Due to the influence of these rain clouds, monsoon rain will fall across the country once more tomorrow.

Rain will start in the central region tomorrow morning.

Heavy rain of 30 to 60 mm per hour is expected to pour in the central region from tomorrow morning.

From the evening, rain clouds gradually move south, and heavy rain is expected once more, centering on the Honam region, which has suffered a lot of rain.

The amount of rain expected until the day following tomorrow is 100 to 250 mm or more in Jeju and Honam, 100 to 200 mm in northern Gyeonggi Province, and 50 to 150 mm or more in most other parts of the country.

This time, as heavy rain is expected in the metropolitan area, attention is needed for road flooding and safety accidents in downtown rivers.

In the Honam region, where there has been a lot of rain since the beginning of the rainy season, you need to prepare for accidents caused by accumulated rain.

From the 25th, when the rainy season began, 365mm of rain fell in Gwangju.

It rained throughout the rainy season in the previous year, just four days following the start of the rainy season.

In addition, a lot of rain of around 300mm was concentrated in Jeonnam and the southern coast of Gyeongnam.

This rain will gradually weaken the day following tomorrow in the central region, but the Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that Jeju and southern regions will continue until Saturday.
