Heat, rain and a severe local storm with hailstones marked Tuesday in Cuba.
Cuban meteorologist Miriam Teresita Llanes explained in the National TV that the island continues to be very hot and with some showers, rain and thunderstorms in the followingnoon.
“Today we had a report of a severe local storm in Paso Real de San Diego, in the province of Pinar del Río, with hail and strong gusty winds,” the evening weather report in Cuba said.
According to him, the influence of high pressures continues over Cuba. Likewise, tropical waves are passing to the south, encouraging precipitation processes, mainly in the followingnoon.
This might be seen in a larger image that showed the increase in cloud activity with showers, rain and thunderstorms in western Cuba.
