Several supermarket signs recall baguettes because of a parasite

The E.Leclerc, Intermarché, Netto and U supermarkets have launched a massive recall campaign for baguettes sold in their store. In question, a too much ergot alkaloids, a parasitic fungus which, in too large quantities, can be dangerous to health. The website “Drink reminder” has published on its Twitter account the detailed list of products affected by this recall campaign and the newspaper The Dispatch relayed it.

First of all, the “pain germanik (GTIN code: 0204779000000) is recalled. This product was marketed by the E.Leclerc subsidiary throughout France between March 29 and 30. Intermarché and Netto recall several breads: a 250 gram country baguette (GTIN: 3250390882886). It was on sale nationwide between March 2 and March 30. Sold between February 16 and March 30, a country bread is also among the recalled products. For their part, U supermarkets recall recall a bastard bread rye (GTIN code: 2000000203799), marketed between February 15 and March 26.

In order not to take risks, it is advisable to do not consume the products in question and return them to the store.
