The race was stopped immediately following the accident. The rescue workers arrived at the scene of the accident with eight vehicles and four helicopters. A total of eight people were taken to clinics with injuries of varying severity, two victims are still in mortal danger. The people involved in the devastating accident were in a section of the track that was closed to spectators.
According to police, the little girl, who was taken to a clinic with life-threatening injuries, also died on Tuesday. This brings the death toll to five.
