Canadians will be in the spotlight at one of Hollywood’s biggest nights, as they’re up for Oscars in some of the most sought-following categories.
Ontario-born filmmakers Sarah Polley and James Cameron will compete in the Best Picture category for their respective feature films, what they say et Avatar: The Way of the Water.

Bryan Litson, who works in the Vancouver office of creative studio Framestore, is up for a visual effects award for his work on Top Gun : Maverickavec Ryan Tudhope, Seth Hill et Scott R. Fisher.
The 95th Academy Awards premiere Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET and will air in Canada on CTV.
