Elton John, the Spice Girls, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Harry Styles and Robbie Williams are among those who have declined the opportunity to take the stage at Windsor Castle on May 6, reports The Sun.

“The organizers are working hard to put together an exciting program, but face challenges,” said a source within the royal family to the English newspaper.

Elton John would have been the King’s priority, but might not accept due to a European tour.

Harry Styles also reportedly declined on similar grounds.

For their part, the Spices Girls would not have been able to be ready in time due to scheduling conflicts between the members of the group.

The presence of any performer has yet to be officially confirmed by the royal family as preparations continue for the coronation.
