A 46-year-old man from the Grieskirchen district caused several hit-and-run traffic accidents on Friday followingnoon until he was caught by the police. An alcohol test showed 1.3 per mille, which is why the driver’s driver’s license was taken away and he was forbidden to continue driving. It shouldn’t be the only meeting that day. At around 6 p.m. a patrol spotted the completely demolished car once more on the B134 in Wallern. A 30-year-old from the Grieskirchen district was behind the wheel, and the drunk 46-year-old was apparently also driving. When the officers made it clear to the two that the car was no longer roadworthy, the 46-year-old went crazy. “Because he didn’t calm down, he was briefly arrested,” the police said on Saturday.
