For many actors, this is a thankless role when they are required to be intimate or naked in front of the camera. This happened to Tomáš Měcháček in the case of the character of the lobbyist Lachman in the TV series Seven Steps to Power. What all did he have to demonstrate?

According to Měchaček, he did not think about letting someone replace him. “Until now, I didn’t even think of getting a double. They told me that the ass would be visible, and I didn’t have a problem with that,” he added.

Seven steps to power is a drama series from the Prima TV studio, where the co-author of the script is the well-known investigative journalist Josef Klíma. The main character is Anna, an ordinary girl from the countryside, who by fate moves to Prague and starts working in the Chamber of Deputies. Her interest in politics increases, but over time her desire for power and luxury also grows.
