Jeddah: Red Sea Blasters FC won the Al-Abeer Seven Star Soccer Fiesta Sevens football tournament under the auspices of Seven Star Club at the Khalid bin Waleed Hilal Sham Stadium following defeating Mahjar FC by one goal.
Munavwar scored the goal for Red Sea Blasters in the final match. Munavwar is the top scorer in the tournament. Aku of Mahajar FC was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
Shafiq (Nani) of Blasters FC was selected as the best defender, Shaleef as the best goalkeeper and Niaz of BFC Jeddah as the best forward.
Bluestar Club President Sharif Parapan inaugurated the tournament in which eight teams participated. Saudi Indian Football Forum President Baby Neelampra and Treasurer Nasser Shanthapuram presented the trophies to the winners and runners up.
Al Abeer Medical Group Representative Kunhali and Azaz LED Lights Manager Ashiq Parammal distributed the cash awards. Askar Jubilee, Nishad Mankada, Rajish Aripra, Mustafa Othukkungal and Mustafa Melmuri led the way.
