Seven people were charged with alleged micro-drug trafficking

Assumption, IP.- The fiscal agent of the San Antonio Zonal Unit, María José Pérez, charged seven people with alleged micro-drug trafficking. All were detained by agents from the Microtrafficking Reduction Unit of the National Anti-Drug Secretariat (Senad).

Those accused of violating Law 1340/8 are: Martín Talavera, 49, María Nancy Acosta, 29, María Estela Acosta, Silvia Riquelme, 55, Romina Riquelme, 23, Fabiana González Riquelme, 23, and Hugo Rodas Cabral, 24 years old. The representative of the Public Ministry requested that the Criminal Court of Guarantees order the preventive detention of the accused.

Senad agents carried out simultaneous raids on two homes located in the San Roque 4 settlement, in the city of San Antonio. In one of the houses, belonging to Acosta, a total of 43 crack stones were found, distributed in bags ready for sale, and cash, in low denomination bills.

On Riquelme’s property, 13 crack stones were found, ready for sale, pipes made from caceras, and cell phone devices.
