Seven people are stuck 32 meters high in the roller coaster ‘The Ride to Happiness’ at Plopsaland Park in De Panne early Saturday evening. The park has since been closed and firefighters are trying to free the passengers. The weather is bad on the Coast where a yellow wind alert has been in effect since 5:00 p.m. Rain added to the gusts.
“Our teams are currently on site for a blocked attraction in Plopsaland. A crisis unit has been set up to coordinate relief. All services are ready to receive people as soon as they get off“, said the Westhoek rescue area on Saturday evening
Four adults and three teenagers are stuck in the attraction.
