In a traffic accident in the district of Schärding (Upper Austria) there were seven injured early Friday followingnoon, including four children. According to the police, a 33-year-old collided with the car of a 34-year-old in her car at the so-called Baderkreuzung in Eggerding.
The woman and her three children in the car, aged four, six and nine, were injured, as were the 34-year-old, his 36-year-old wife and their six-month-old daughter.
All seven were taken to the Ried and Schärding hospitals in ambulances or the “Europa 3” rescue helicopter. The accident happened just following 2:30 p.m.
