Seven days of mourning after Queen Elizabeth’s funeral

Mourning for Britain’s royal family continues until the seventh day following Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, with flags at half-mast in all royal palaces.
Buckingham Palace said today, Friday, that shots will be fired to honor the late queen at 1200 GMT in London’s Hyde Park, with one shot for each year of the life of the queen, who died at the age of 96.
The palace did not say the date of the funeral, but it is likely to take place regarding 11 days following her death on Thursday.
