At the end of last month, Daehan Flour Mill filed an injunction with the Seoul Central District Court to ban the sale of ‘Gompyo Wheat Beer Season 2’, which is scheduled to be released on the 22nd in cooperation with Jeju Beer, and even filed a complaint with the Fair Trade Commission.

Previously, in May 2020, Sevenbroy’s Gompyo wheat beer, which was introduced with Daehan Flour Mills, rose to the ranks of hit products and was on a winning streak. However, the partnership between the two companies was hampered when Daehan Flour Mills announced the termination of the trademark use contract in April.
This time, Sevenbroi is claiming that Daehan Flour is trying to sell its beer manufacturing know-how and ingredients by stealing them. There are concerns that Season 2 of Gompyo Wheat Beer, which is being prepared by Daehan Flour, will be released with a taste and package similar to the previous Season 1.
Regarding this complaint to the Fair Trade Commission, Sevenbroy ▲ abused its trading position to unfairly steal overseas export business ▲ interfered with business activities by stealing key technologies such as overseas business activity know-how and customers, ingredient analysis table, and nutritional information table ▲ The background was that the core technology was delivered to Jeju Beer, a competitor.
An official from Seven Broy said, “Daehan Flour Mills, which stole all of its technology, know-how, and overseas business, refused to renew the contract and stopped all business relationships. , which is clearly intended to isolate the company from the industry.”
