The Regional Directorate of Ñuble and the Ránquil Municipality inaugurated a new consumer service office, which will allow residents of the commune to file complaints once morest violations of their consumer rights.
The office aims to expand the territorial coverage of the Service in the respective communes, being able to establish a physical point of attention for queries and complaints in the province of Itata.
The initiative will facilitate access to the inhabitants of the town, without the need to travel to the regional capital in Chillán, to seek a timely solution in municipal offices.
The mayor of Ránquil, Nicolás Torres, and the Regional Director of Sernac Ñuble, Félix Mercado, were present at the inauguration.
The communal authority valued the agreement, since it translates into help for the community. “We are starting a new path that links us with SERNAC, so that we can channel the queries and concerns that the inhabitants of the commune have regarding consumption.”
While for the Regional Director of Sernac, Félix Mercado, “the new office responds to the commitment of the Service, together with the municipalities, to get closer to citizens, so that anyone who feels that their rights have been violated can exercise their rights. rights, avoiding transfers, with the consequent saving of time and money, but, in addition, they will be able to manage their claim within their own local and community space.”
Sernac, through its Regional Directorates, establishes cooperation agreements with Municipalities, for the attention of the public and management of queries and/or complaints. Currently there is a wide network of municipal platforms at the national level.
The new municipal service office will allow the residents of the commune to manage their complaints and queries, from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 521 Nicolás León street, Ránquil commune, Ñuble region.
