While working on a meadow, the vehicle may have rolled over and ended up on its side, the Amstetten district fire brigade command reported on Wednesday. The man was trapped between the tractor and the trailer it was carrying.
Four fire departments responded, stabilized the tractor and freed the seriously injured man. After initial treatment, the man was flown to the hospital in an emergency helicopter.
