“When I say I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from the bottom of my heart,” US media quoted the Canadian as saying. Accordingly, she came on stage at the 66th Grammy Awards on Sunday evening (local time) in Los Angeles to thunderous applause to present the best album of the year.

Rare neurological disease
Dion announced some time ago that she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological disease called stiff person syndrome. She suffers from muscle cramps and sometimes has problems walking and singing.
That’s why the “My Heart Will Go On” singer canceled all dates of her “Courage World Tour” in Europe planned for 2023 and 2024. The musician announced last week that she wanted to chronicle her battle with her illness in the documentary “I Am: Celine Dion.”
“Those lucky enough to attend the Grammy Awards should never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people around the world,” Dion said Sunday night . As the winner in the Album of the Year category, Dion read out her colleague Taylor Swift, who won the award in the category for the fourth time with “Midnights” and thus made music history.
