During the night from Friday to Saturday, a man from the region was seriously injured during a road accident which took place in Bois-et-Borsu (Clavier).
It was 2:30 a.m. when firefighters and local police were called to the scene for a serious accident that occurred on the N63 in the direction of Marche towards Liège.
For a reason that remains to be determined, the driver lost control of his vehicle while traveling on a long straight line. The car hit the central berm, rolled several times before hitting the safety rail on the right and coming to rest in the trees below the road. The shock was violent.
The driver was seriously injured. The motorist was treated by emergency services and transported to Mont Legia hospital in Liège. His days were in danger.
The Liège public prosecutor’s office was informed of the facts. An expert was appointed to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident.
The Lallemand repairer, from Dépannage du Condroz, was called to the scene. He set up a security vehicle throughout the intervention of the emergency services and the expert.
Only one lane was blocked to traffic. The Lallemand wrecker then took charge of the damaged vehicle and took it away. The operations ended at 7:15 a.m.
