The woman from the Braunau district was riding her electric bike on Trimmelkamer Straße towards Ostermiething. A 32-year-old man, also from the Braunau district, was sitting on the luggage rack. In the area of the town of Hollersbach, the rider then lost control of the e-bike. They fell and were thrown onto the road.
A witness to the accident immediately called the emergency services. The 30-year-old was treated by the emergency doctor at the scene of the accident and then taken to the Salzburg Regional Hospital with head injuries.
The 32-year-old passenger was only slightly injured.
