Serious electrical accident while working on the snowmaking system on Kreischberg

The 36-year-old power engineer was transported by rescue helicopter to the Graz State Hospital with severe burns. The Red Cross took the 27-year-old employee to the Stolzalpe Hospital.

The fitter was working on the snowmaking system‘s transformer station around 3 p.m. The Styria State Police Department reported that the equipment was probably still connected to the power grid. The 36-year-old from Styria got caught in the circuit. The 27-year-old wanted to rush to the technician’s help. He also received an electric shock.
