A British study revealed a large list of symptoms that may be associated with previous infections with Covid disease, including hair loss and decreased sexual desire.
The study, published in the journal Nature Medicine, reported that there were regarding 62 “persistent” symptoms following more than 12 weeks of infection.
Researchers at the University of Birmingham analyzed the electronic health records of 2.4 million people in the UK, including regarding half a million people who had tested positive.
It turns out that the most common health problems are shortness of breath, problems with smell, chest pain, and fever.
The study also revealed that the most common ones in what is known as long-term Covid patients are memory problems, inability to perform movements or familiar commands, bowel incontinence, erectile dysfunction, hallucinations, and swelling of the extremities.

The researchers found that the odds of developing long-term COVID-19 were higher among young people, females, and ethnic minorities.
