She made a career – until the Covid vaccination laid her flat

Any vaccine can have serious and long-lasting side effects. Also the Covid vaccination. One of those affected is Tina Eismann (45).

Tina Eismann (45) suffers from undesirable side effects of the corona vaccination. It started a few hours following the first vaccination: fever, pain, nausea, a rash all over my upper body.

“I wasn’t opposed to vaccination, but I knew that my body was sensitive to certain foods and medicines,” she says.

Tina Eismann was vaccinated once morest Covid in autumn 2021 – since then she has not been able to work.

Before that she had no health problems.

The doctors don’t take their suffering seriously and don’t want to accept the connection with the vaccination, says Tina Eismann.

If she might turn back time to autumn 2021, she would do without the Covid vaccination. But then she saw it differently. The economist Tina Eismann worked ten hours a day and went to fitness training almost every day. “I wanted the certificate,” she says.

After the first vaccination it went on the same day get rid of the complaints. Fever, pain, nausea, a rash all over your upper body. “I wasn’t opposed to vaccination, but I knew that my body was sensitive to certain foods and medicines,” she says. That’s why she would rather not have had the Covid vaccination. She approached several doctors regarding it, but got no satisfactory answers. Your concerns were allayed.

The fact that there are still serious and persistent side effects is very rare, but not surprising, says epidemiologist Marcel Tanner in an interview with 20 minutes. “We know that such cases exist. There is no vaccination and no medicine without this risk. »

“Are you still cold?”

At first glance, Tina Eismann seems healthy and vital. A sporty woman in her mid-forties, in a good mood. The cramped posture and the tense facial expression only become apparent at second glance. She is permanently tired (chronic fatigue syndrome), tendons and joints are chronically inflamed. Typing on the keyboard is therefore difficult. The voice is scratchy and the larynx is inflamed. Tina Eismann lives in Zurich with two cats, “at least they’re happy that I’m always at home now”. She longs for a challenge and responsibility. She had a seven-year career at Canon, most recently as a project manager. “I still had a lot to do,” she says.

Tina Eismann grew up in Nuremberg, where she studied, and her brothers also studied there. At the age of 30, she moved to Zurich because of love, and this has been her home for 15 years. Tina’s whole family is vaccinated, nobody had serious side effects. The elderly parents do not really realize what is happening to their daughter. “Child, do you still have a cold?” they ask.

Swissmedic

In Germany, almost 9,000 people have asked the state for support because of the serious side effects of the Covid vaccination. In almost ten percent of the cases, the applications were approved, which happened a few days ago. In Switzerland, 260 people have applied to the Federal Office of Public Health for help because of severe vaccination damage. The examination of the applications is ongoing. BAG spokesman Daniel Dauwalder cannot say when it will be completed. The reports of unwanted vaccination side effects at Swissmedic include 16,855 cases – with almost 17 million vaccine doses administered. The rate of presumed unwanted vaccination side effects is around one per thousand. In 61.5 percent of the reports, the cases are not serious. In 38.5 percent (6490 cases), however, yes.

She is sure that doctors and authorities have not mentioned the risk of serious vaccine side effects. “With this knowledge I would not have been vaccinated.” Today she wishes that the federal government would help those affected unbureaucratically. Your daily sickness benefit insurance is regarding to expire, the IV has not yet checked your pension application. If that doesn’t happen soon, she’ll have to go to the social welfare office. She can only apply for help from the federal government when all other options have been exhausted (see box). And the clarification of the federal government takes a long time.

The doctors who treated Tina Eismann did not want to accept the connection to the vaccination. The Covid vaccination was not mentioned in any patient dossier. She assumes that the doctors have not reported their case to Swissmedic. Now she has recently been treated by the vaccination-critical doctors’ association Aletheia in Ebikon LU. «Here I am taken seriously, the doctor tries out different things. The vaccination was also new, so you have to try new methods.”
