The La Guajira Police confirmed that this Sunday morning, June 5, there was a serious accident in the Troncal del Caribe, exactly at kilometer 53 of the Riohacha – Maicao road.
In the road accident there are at least two private vehicles, with several people on board, involved.
According to preliminary information, this accident on the Riohacha – Maicao road leaves four fatalities and several wounded, who were transferred to medical centers. There are also people who are still trapped in the cans of the vehicles involved.
Traffic in the area is still restricted. Authorities are present at the scene.
