Addressing Hunters. Forest stalking, on Arte, we are preparing to dive into a very classic thriller, Nordic to boot. A beautiful, cold, forested region, a lonely and somewhat alcoholic repudiated cop, a few secrets in the city spread out as far as the eye can see, and, soon, a corpse. Everything is there. Except that Hunters is not a detective series, at least not according to the usual canon.
First, we know from the outset who killed, and this is not a construction Columbo. It’s important that we know this because the murderers are among the protagonists in the case, and the murder of which they are guilty will not only reveal their dark motivations, but also bring the community to its knees.
