For the first time, the general public will be able to follow behind the scenes the intense and revealing journey of elite Brazilian Rainbow Six Siege (R6) players. Ubisoft, the developer of the game that has more than 85 million users worldwide, will launch the documentary series on Saturday (31); an exciting documentary with details of the R6S competitive scene. “Captains of the Six” presents the journey of eight Brazilian players from the competitive elite to the pinnacle of their careers, in the finals of the Six Invitational 2024, a global tournament held in São Paulo, Brazil, with historic matches and a total prize pool of USD 3 million. The series, exclusive to Ubisoft TV Brazil, is a production by Tocaia Filmes and features testimonials, images and stories from ALEM40, Nesk, Camer4man, Julio, VITAKING, HERDSZ, Handyy and nade.

The documentary series ‘Capitães do Six’ is an exclusive production by Ubisoft TV Brasil divided into six episodes that follow the journey of some of the main Brazilian pro-players in the sport, revealing their routines, triumphs, defeats, friendships and even rivalries.

“The content is divided into six episodes and exclusively shows training and strategy development scenes, as well as the personal, social and emotional struggles faced by these players,” explains Maicol Ximenes, content manager at Ubisoft. “Captains of the Six is ​​a documentary that showcases rivalries and friendships, but mainly highlights an intimate view of each character portrayed, revealing the personal sacrifices required to lead their teams to victory at the highest level of the game.”

Opening episode

The opening episode of the documentary series will be shown after the broadcast of the R6 Brazilian Super Cup final, at 6 pm on Saturday, on Ubisoft TV Brasil. The series will then be made available in full on the platform’s on demand section. The initial content explores the trajectory of ALEM40, the first Brazilian R6 pro player to play for a foreign team, and, like the other chapters, includes several moments captured at Ginásio do Ibirapuera, in February, during the Six Invitational 2024.
