Facing Sassuolo, Pioli’s men never managed to find the fault and conceded their second draw in 4 matches this season (1-1). A disappointing end for AC Milan which still retains first place in the championship, just one point behind 5 competitors.
One point for each team, and maybe it’s better that way. In a game lacking in rhythm and very hampered by numerous faults, neither team was able to come out on top. Despite more recurrent highlights for the Milanese, Sassuolo was able to rely on the solidity of Gian Marco Ferrari to hang the draw.

In the first 25 minutes, Sassuolo showed almost nothing. Very imprecise in the face of the incessant pressing of their opponents, the hosts of the meeting initially suffered a lot.
