Veteran star Sergio Ramos, defender of the current French team Paris Saint-Germain, and the former Spain national team, sent a message to the stars of La Roja, following they bid farewell to the 2022 World Cup.
Spain was eliminated from the 2022 Qatar World Cup, following losing to Morocco in the round of 16 finals, which will be held in Qatar and will continue until December 18.
Morocco met Spain in the match that was held at exactly five o’clock in the evening, Tuesday, Cairo time, at the Education City Stadium, and the match ended in its original and extra time in a goalless draw, but the Atlantic Lions settled the match in their favor, 3-0, with a penalty shootout.
Ramos said through his official account on the “Instagram” website: “Today more than ever, I am proud of our flag, proud of our country, and proud of our players.”
