Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Sergio Ramos, the Sevilla player, commented on video clips showing his refusal to sign the shirt of his former club, Real Madrid, which sparked controversy among fans of the “Merengue” team.
Video footage showed the Spanish defender sitting in his car and responding to the fans’ request to sign the shirts of the Seville and Paris Saint-Germain clubs, but he refused to sign the Real Madrid shirt.
In response to these shots, Ramos wrote on his account on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter): “Before that moment I had already signed regarding 6 Real Madrid shirts, and then there are people who are selling them at auction or online.”
