“I had a power problem when I was under pressure on Carlos (Sainz). This was a sensor problem that caused me to lose a lot of power and limited my attack. The engine was one second behind Carlos. The power dropped and I lost about 30 seconds in two laps. This trouble affected the whole race. “
“I had the pace to compete for the podium, so I pushed as much as I could under the circumstances. Tire management was difficult, the corners were really tough, and the grip dropped considerably towards the end of the race. I set it up after the start, but I couldn’t get a grip and couldn’t get out in front of Carlos. “
“We are working hard to improve reliability and will continue to push as a team. It was an unlucky race, but I am happy that I managed to finish it. I want to return to the top race in Barcelona.”
