Sergio Pérez sixth in the last free practice at the Red Bull Ring; Sainz dominated

Sergio Pérez finished sixth in the second and last free practice for the Austrian Grand Prix, the eleventh of the Formula One World Championship

The Spanish Carlos Sainz (Ferrari)who comes from winning last Sunday in Silverstone (Inglaterra), set the fastest time this Saturday in the second and last free practice for the Austrian Grand Prix, the eleventh of Formula One World Championshipwhich is disputed in Red Bull Ring de Spielbergin Styriawhile the Mexican pilot Sergio Perez finished in sixth place.

The Mexican Sergio Pérez (Red Bull); second in the World Cup -34 of the 181 points with which his teammate leads Verstappen– also did his fastest lap with medium tires. ‘Czech‘ repeated 36 times the track of the circuit that is owned by his team; and in his best attempt he stayed at 569 thousandths of Sainz.

In his best lap, Sainz he covered the 4,318 meters of the Austrian track in one minute, eight seconds and 610 thousandths, 50 less than his partner Charles Leclerc -just like him with the soft compound-; in a session in which the Dutch Max Verstappen (Red Bull)leader of the World Cup, set the third time -at 168- and the Asturian double world champion Fernando Alonso (Alpine) -like the previous one with the soft tire-, the fourth, 222 thousandths of his compatriot.

The qualification, in a sprint test format -over just over a third of the route of the Sunday race, that is: 24 laps and 103.5 kilometers- will be held from half past four in the afternoon (2:30 p.m. GMT hours).
