Sergio Massa arrives this Friday at noon in Córdoba to resume the campaign in this province following his trip to the United States in which he obtained the funds to meet the Argentine debt commitments.

Massa: “If we break with Brazil, China and India, where will the dollars for dollarization come from?”

Act

The Minister of Economy and presidential candidate of the Union for the Fatherland (UxP) will lead the launching ceremony of the tender for the Northern Gas Pipeline in Tío Pujio.

Massa will be accompanied by the Secretary of Energy, Flavia Royón, and the President of Energía Argentina, Agustín Jerez. Trade union representatives and businessmen will also participate. The presence of any provincial authority has not yet been confirmed.

Lunch

At 1:00 p.m. Massa will share a lunch with the mayor of Villa María, Martín Gill. During the visit of the presidential candidate, the presence of Kirchnerist references from Cordoba is expected, such as the mayor of Leones, Fabián Francioni, who will be joined by mayors such as Sandra Dal Bo (Cavanagh) and her successor, Gustavo Dal Bo; Agustín González (Cruz Alta), Marcelo Agustín (Alejo Ledesma), Roberto Pacheco (Corral de Bustos), Gerardo Mancini (General Baldissera) and Germán Butarelli (Los Surgentes). They were all present at the previous step of the Unión por la Patria candidate for the Mediterranean province before the elections.

Constructions

The reversal of the North Gas Pipeline includes three different projects, one of which is the construction of the 123 kilometer power line between Tío Pujio and La Carlota. The remaining ones are the 62-kilometer extension of the North Gas Pipeline and the reversal of the direction of gas injection in the compression plants of Ferreyra and Deán Funes, Lavalle (Santiago del Estero) and Lumbreras (Salta).

Lhe reversal work will allow gas from Vaca Muerta to be brought to the industries of Salta, Tucumán and Catamarca, supply mining development and reduce gas imports, which implies an annual saving of 2 billion dollars. Among its advantages for the national economy, it stands out that it will lower the cost of electricity and industrial generation in northern Argentina and that it will allow exports to Bolivia, northern Chile and central Brazil.

Financing is done through a loan from the Andean Development Corporation and it will be operational in the winter of 2024.
